Postdoctoral Researcher in Reproductive and Behavior Laboratory at the INRA Institute

A postdoctoral position is available in the Reproductive and Behavior Laboratory at the INRA institute in Nouzilly, France. This lab
specializes in developing phylogenetics and evolutionary methodologies to study biological functions such as reproduction and lipid metabolism. In particular, there is a need for a better understanding of how genes involved in metabolism are evolving by gene appearance, gene loss, positive selection, and gene conversion.

Candidates should have a PhD and experience in evolutionary biology, bioinformatics, computer science, or related fields. Funding for this position is available until spring 2014. For informal inquiries, contact Dr. Philippe Monget (pmonget@tours.inra.fr).
