Academic and Community Engagement

We strive to ensure that the Institute of Bioinformatics is an inclusive and welcoming environment that facilitates the success of all students, faculty, staff, collaborators, and partners.

Our people, programs, and purpose are in alignment with the University of Georgia’s Office of Academic and Community Engagement (ACE).

We are Many People, but One Community.

The Institute of Bioinformatics includes not just expertise in proteins and nucleic acids, but also a broad range of applications in computational biology.  Thus, the range of expertise and community members includes many different skill sets and backgrounds.

If you have an interest in computational biology, we welcome you to join our community.
