Bioinformatics Leader at Veracyte
Veracyte is seeking an exceptional individual with strong scientific leadership, coupled with insightful managerial and organizational skills to lead the Bioinformatics team, reporting to the Chief Scientific Officer.
This individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of an overall strategy for bioinformatics at Veracyte that will support the collaborative efforts of R&D to discover and develop validated genomic tests that enhance the company’s reputation for scientific excellence. The successful candidate and his/her team will develop methodologies, implement bioinformatics pipelines and analyze data that contribute to all phases of product development, starting from early feasibility studies, biomarker identification, algorithm development, all the way through methods development studies, clinical feasibility studies, and ultimately large scale clinical validation studies.
